Pelican Rapids

Quaint little town with a variety of small shops and the iconic “Pelican Pete” sculpture watching over the great Pelican Rapids near the city center. Be on the lookout throughout town for Pelican statues at local businesses.

Home to the world’s largest loon at 20-feet tall. Vergas is a small town with a few bars, cafes, and a couple boutiques and shops. Great spot to get out and shop as well as grab a bite to eat and enjoy the community feel.

Perham

Perham is one of the larger local towns but still offers all the charm you would expect. Enjoy the downtown business district filled with shops and eateries as well as the East Ottertail County Fair which happens annually in late July.

Detroit Lakes

Detroit Lakes is the largest of our local towns and offers a wide variety of activities, shops, and restaurants for everyone. This is also your place to shop any of the larger big-box stores to grab anything you might need.

Frazee

Frazee is great for a quick afternoon getaway from the lake. Enjoy the small-town shopping as well as some recreational activities for the family to enjoy, and some charming eateries within the city limits. Don’t miss out on stopping by the World’s Largest Turkey before you head back to the resort.
